Watching the New Pres. (Is Fun!)
Since I've been away
what can I do?
Just start somewhere.
?
But, let me ask: How's he doing?
Fantastic.
Listening
(to the various sounds)
at first you think that might not be so.
Listening more
and attentively
you start to see it.
(Look at the administration,
not at all the naysayers.)

Why is deflation so feared? Seems when the economy slows, people have trouble paying loans, must abandon assets, thus driving down prices. Anyway, it's a game of musical chairs. (It is predicted that people in their forties today will start retiring in a wave, shortly. They are, today, working hard, buying homes, toys, college educations ... Having retired, they will stop driving the economy.) When this happens, who will have a house they can keep? Who will have a job they can keep? What can you do about it? Ride it out!!! Even if you end up in some Grapes of Wrath kind of life, eventually, you can see another era of great prosperity. Just stick around, handle what comes your way. Here are details about the economy: ... http://www.portfolio.com/views/columns/economics/2008/11/11/Economic-Predictions-for-2009?tid=advert/wired/worst_of_times#page3 ... "Worst of Times."
Does this mean you're stuck being on the edge of existence? Do you want to secure a more secure place in the world? You can do that by helping other people do that. Give it some thought.

classifying operating systems
An operating system could be described as a series of events that occur when a computer is turned on.
If a number of computers are set up with the same operating system, we might assume the same events would occur when each is switched on, for some number of steps.
A group of computers that all performed some number of identical steps before some of them began performing different steps could be said to share the same operating system up to a certain number of steps.
All existing computers could be classified as belonging to one of a finite number of operating systems as just defined.
